The HUV2 project explores the combination of producing hydrogen fuel on-site with guaranteed 0% emission pollution and an abundtant source of fuel on even remote locations. All you need is power and water.
The hydrogen powered drone is developed with the purpose of flying scientific missions where the focus is on not contaminating the surrounding air. E.g. in collection of particles. As a side effect, you will get one of the least polluting types of long-range flying drones in the world with the lowest noise pollution.
• Zero emissions, no oil spills or noise contamination • Direct and safe refueling • Light-weight hydrogen tanks • Standardised fuel cells for easy maintenance
Green
and Abundant
Refueling
HUV2’s patent pending portable refueling station ensures that you will never run dry of the precious drops of fuel while conducting flights. When deploying your drone in remote locations like the outskirts of civilisation in the Arctic, the access to conventional types of fuel are scarse. An abundant supply of water and electricity gives the drone operator several hours of flight time with the hydrogen refueling system within close reach. With solar panels or a small wind turbine, the refueling station can even deliver sustainable fuel.
• Direct on-site energy supply • Zero emissions, no oil spills or noise contamination • Direct and safe refueling • Light-weight hydrogen tanks
